Frustrating.
In a word, that sums up the first two weeks of the season for Campbell County High School’s football team.
The most recent disappointment for the Cougars (0-2 overall) was a 21-14 loss Friday night to visiting White County, a team they beat by 30 points last year while setting school single-game records for interceptions (4) and interceptions returned for touchdowns (2).
This year looked to be more of the same until Campbell County blew a 14-point lead in the final three quarters.
