LaFollette Middle School golf teams posted a one-two finish this year at the district tournament.
The Owls defeated Clinton by 11 strokes to capture a first place trophy in the boy’s competition.
LaFollette shot 351 as a team. Trevor Huckaby led the Owls with an 86, which was good for fifth place overall. Gunner St. John shot 89, while Caleb Bair and Tyler Chumley each turned in an 88.
Clinton, with a cumulative score of 362, was led by district medalist Josh Gambrell, who shot a tournament low 74.
