Campbell County High School split varsity games with Karns at home on Dec. 12, with the Lady Cougars defeating Karns 65-10 but Karns defeating the Cougar boys 77-53.

In a back-and-forth contest, the Elk Valley Elementary girls team outlasted Wynn, 29-16, to take the small division girls county elementary title last Thursday at Jacksboro Middle School.

In the county rivalry renewed, the Jacksboro Middle Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Owls 47-22 at LaFollette Middle School on Monday night.

The Jacksboro Elementary girls basketball team defeated Valley View, 32-12, in a county tournament first-round matchup last Tuesday at Jacksboro Middle School.
