Cove Lake Hiking Club will meet on Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. at the LaFollette Recreation Center. For more information contact Richard Helm at 562-1110.   The next meeting of the Clinch-Powell Regional Library Board is 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2010 at the Clinton Shoney’s. Optional dinner is at 5 p.m. The Clinch-Powell Regional Library Board represents Anderson, Campbell, Claiborne, Morgan, Scott and Union counties, providing services to public libraries, book stations, Head Start Centers, day cares and eldercare facilities throughout the area. For more information, please call (865)457-0931.   Sugar Shack will host an information meeting about a new promotion called Survivor Sundae: The Holy Wars* on Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. to explain a new program in detail and give the parameters of creating sundaes. They would like one adult and up to three older youths from the group to join the information meeting. Cove Lake Hiking Club will meet on Jan. 16 at 9 a.m. at Jacksboro Middle School parking lot for a hike to Yahoo Falls-Big South Fork. This is a 3-4 mile easy hike, dress warm, bring plenty of water and snacks. Alcoholics Anonymous meets at the Jellico United Methodist Church, 204 Fifth Street, Jellico, on Mondays at 7 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous meets Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays each evening at 8 p.m. as well as Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at 2119 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette in the Campbell County Unity Association building. Alcoholics Anonymous also has a hotline, 1-800-905-8666. Al- Anon for the families of the alcoholic meets Tuesdays at 8 p.m. The meetings will take place at 2119 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette in the Campbell County Unity Association building.   Celebrate Recovery meets Thursdays at 6:15 p.m. for a light meal and 7 p.m. meeting at the First Baptist Church Jacksboro.
