    Delane Richardson

    Delane Richardson, 67, of Dayton passed away May 2. Delane retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service.

    Preceded in death by parents, Condy and Mary Richardson; brothers, Gilbert and Jerry Richardson.

    Delane is survived by loving wife of 46 years, Alice Richardson; daughter, Lisa Tilton and husband, John; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joshua and Jacob Tilton; sisters, Shirley Dowell, Patsy Davis, Janet Wormsley and Sue Wilson; brother, Franklin Richardson; many nieces and nephews.

    Jana Kay Boshears

    Jana Kay Boshears, 55, of Jacksboro passed away May 4.  A member of Woodlake Baptist Church and employed as a secretary for the State of Tennessee Department of Land Reclamation for 33 years. 

    Preceded in death by grandparents, Brown and Bertha Boshears and Otis and Minnie Shetterly.

    Kenneth Edward McCulley

    The Pearly Gates swung open wide for Kenneth Edward McCulley, 87, of LaFollette, May 6 at his home.  He was a member of Lake View Baptist Church and retired from Y-12 after 35 years of service.  He loved to sing and listen to gospel music. 

    Preceded in death by parents, Pat and Lillie McCulley; brothers, Bobby and Buck McCulley.

    Van Rodford Daugherty

    Van Rodford Daugherty, 60, died May 4.

    Preceded in death by parents, Vernon  and Kathleen Daugherty.

    Van is survived by children, Vernon Daugherty of Toledo, Oh, April Daugherty of Lake City, Matthew Daugherty of Lake City, Tina Bullock of Lake City, Anthoney Daugherty Barber of Clinton.

    Funeral services were held May 6 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating. Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

    Hatmaker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

    Joyce Myers, 60 of LaFollette died May 5.

    Preceded in death by mother, Peggy Gauger.

    Joyce is survived by her father, Les Ward; son, Lloyd Myers of LaFollette.

    A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

    Preceded in death by parents, William Henry and Rosie Jane Foust Beach; husband, Ike Duncan

    Funeral services were held May 6 at the Main Street Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating. Interment was in the Disney Cemetery.

    Theodore Watson Perkey, 74 of LaFollette died May 5.

    Preceded in death by father, Hugh Nelson Perkey; mother, Oma Akins Perkey; first wife, Lelia Padgett Perkey.

    Theodore is survived by wife, Nyoka M. Daniels Perkey of LaFollette; sons, Kelley Perkey of West Milton, Oh and Richard Perkey of Englewood, Oh; daughters, Donna Johnson of New Lebanon, Oh and Lisa Cash of Knoxville, TN.

    Gordon Victor Jennings

    Gordon Victor Jennings, 50 of LaFollette passed away May 3 at U.T. Medical Center of Knoxville.  He was born December 22, 1960.  Victor was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  He was a radio personality, longtime sportscaster and was the “voice” of the Campbell County Cougars. 

    Preceded in death by parents, John and Hazel Jones Jennings; brothers, John Jennings, and Clark David Jennings; sister, Gloria Ann Jennings.

    Kenneth is survived by his mother, Kathryn Furmann Strouse; wife, Ann Levick of Speedwell; daughter, Kimberly Buzby of Pensacola, Fla.
