    William Henry “June Bug” Maiden, Jr.

    William Henry “June Bug” Maiden, Jr., 81,   of Williamsburg, Ky, passed away April 2 at the Jellico Community Hospital.He was born August 1, 1929 at Eagan.  He was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church, Jellico Lodge #527 F & AM, Scottish Rite, Kerbela Temple and was a retired grocer.

    Preceded in death by parents, William Henry Maiden, Sr. and Geneva Jaynes Maiden; son, William Henry Maiden, III.

    Troy M. “BooBoo” Phillips, 26 died March 26 at his residence in Felicity, Oh. Beloved son of Kendall and Susan Snyder Phillips, loving brother of Travis and Terry Phillips, dear grandson of William and Hilda Phillips, Judy and the late Dallas Snyder, devoted uncle of Abigail Phillips, caring nephew of April (Paul Snyder), Adrienne (Darrell) Lucas, Marilyn (David) Williams, Wendell, Mandell, Daniel, Mendell, Ronald and the late Randall Phillips; also survived by several cousins and friends.

    Tim Webber, 60 of Jacksboro died  April 3.

    Preceded in death by parents, Melvin Sr. and Lillie Webber; first wife and mother of his children Patsy Sue Webber.

    Tim is survived by wife, Penny Webber of Jacksboro; son, Richard Graham Davis of Jacksboro; daughters, Tammy Sue Summers of Oliver Springs, Jackie Pat Webber of Knoxville, Loretta Mae Webber of Jacksboro.

    Arvel "Darb" Cross

    Arvel "Darb" Cross, 94, of Jacksboro, went to be with the Lord  April 2, 2011. He was a lifelong member of Caryville First Baptist Church. Member of The United Mine Workers of America, The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 760, Campbell Co. Lodge # 778, and a 32nd  degree Mason, member of  Kerbella Temple in Knoxville and Campbell County Shrine Club.

    Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Delora Newport Cross; brothers, Eli and Marion Cross; sister, Cloda McKamey.

    George S. Saupp, 69, of Caryville, died April 4.

    Preceded in death by parents, George and Catherine Saupp.

    George is survived by wife, Bonnie Saupp of Caryville; son, Robert Keeher of Ct; daughters, Teanna Thorpe of Mi, Sandre Keeher of Tn.

    Funeral services were held April 6 in the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Bushur and Pastor Drek Roberts officiating. Interment was in the Grandview Memorial Gardens.

    Kathy Ann Moore Hurst, 45 of Eagan, passed away March 29 at her home.  She was born December 25, 1965 in Jellico.

    Preceded in death by father, Wilbur Dean Moore.

    Kenneth Ray Godwin, 55 of LaFollette died March 28.

    Kenneth is survived by his mother, Mary Smith of LaFollette; wife, Ruth Hubbard of LaFollette; daughter, Ashley Goodwin of Arizona.

    A memorial service will be held April 2 Ruth Hubbard at 113 N. 17thStreet, LaFollette with Rev. Hobert McCreary officiating.

    Edward Eugene “Eddie Gene” Grisham, 71 of Barbourville, Ky, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died March 31.

    Edward is survived by children, Edward Eugene Grisham Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, Debra Grisham Law, Karen Grisham Kirby, all of Harrison, Ohio, Douglas Grisham of Spokane, Wa, Lesley Grisham Mills of Barbourville, Ky.

    Detonia is survived by parents, Melvin and Jane Douglas Weaver; daughter, Kristie Taylor.

    Graveside funeral services were held March 27 in the Douglas Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Hale officiating.
