    Preceded in death by husband, Clyde (Doc) Creekmore; parents, Hershel and Elsie Burnett.

    Preceded in death by parents, Berry and Anna Mae Wallace Cox.

    Funeral services were held Sept. 17 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Interment was in the Beech Grove Cemetery.

    Philip “Dean” Doepel

    Philip “Dean” Doepel, 75, of LaFollette, was called home to be with the Lord on Sept. 9. He was born April 12, 1935 in Harlan, KY, to Philip and Lucille Doepel.

    Preceded in death by parents and great grandson, Hunter Jenkins.

    Flossie Hatmaker Ford Williams, 85 of LaFollette died Sept. 12.

    Preceded in death by parents, Silas and Bertha Hatmaker; first husband, Paul Ford; second husband, Hubert Williams.

    Flossie is survived by sons, Dennis Ford of Clinton, Rex Ford of Clinton; daughters, Joyce Bell of Andersonville, Pauline Bell of Andersonville, Linda Adkins of Knoxville, Anita Goodykoontz of Pensacola, FL, Barbara Peterson of Blacksburg, SC, Virginia Garrett of Kings Mountain, NC, Margaret Davis of Andersonville.

    Gary W. Rose, 58, of Toledo, died Sept. 1.

    Preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Ada (Hicks) Rose.

    Gary is survived by wife, Cynthia Rose; sons, Charles Rose of Toledo, OH, Michael Rose of Holland.

    Funeral services were held Sept. 4 in the Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe. Interment was in the Douglas Cemetery.

    Mary Chadwell Moore, 70, died Sept. 4.

    Preceded in death by son, Eddie Davis Chadwell; husband, Louis Mmore.

    Mary is survived by sons, Tommy Davis Chadwell of Jellico, Freddie Chadwell of Jellico, David Petree Chadwell of Jellico; daughter, Patsy Ann Benge of LaFollette.

    Funeral services were held Sept. 7 in the chapel of Harp Funeral Home with June Fox and David Morgan officiating. Interment was in the Oddfellow Cemetery.

    JoAnn Stiner Sharp

    JoAnn Stiner Sharp, 63, of LaFollette passed away suddenly at her home on Sept. 14.  JoAnn was a member of Forks Grove Baptist Church and a wonderful friend to many.  She continued to be a source of advice and help to everyone in need following many years of work as a Registered Nurse.  She received great fulfillment in doing good deeds for others.  JoAnn served on many boards and took great pride in her services to Mountain Valley Economic Opportunity Authority, CASA of Campbell County and The Campbell County Cancer Society.

    Beulah Mae Woods, 87 of Jacksboro died Sept. 10.

    Preceded in death by infant son, Danny Wayne; daughter, Dorothy Kitts; parents, Marshall and Ollie Yoakum Rains.

    Beulah is survived by husband, Ramon Woods; son, William Shipley of Speedwell.

    Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. on Sept. 13 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with President Williams officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Sept. 14 in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. before funeral services.

    Aline Queener Gipson

    Aline Queener Gipson, 93 of LaFollette passed away Sept. 10 at the NHC Nursing Home in Oak Ridge.  She was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church. 

    She was preceded by husband,  Pless Gipson; parents,  Harvey and Bessie Mae McDeerman Queener; sisters,  Dot Davis, Christine Miller, and Betty Jo Willoughby ; brothers,  Austin and Alvin Queener.

    David is survived by sons, Charles David Farmer, Joshua Dewayne Farmer of Duff; daughter, Lora Beth Bruce of LaFollette; mother, Rosa Lee Farmer

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sept. 14 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. James Adkins officiating. Interment was in the Indian Creek Cemetery.
